Ashley C. Williams is an award winning actress known for hit films such as controversial horror The Human Centipede (First Sequence) and stylish revenge thriller Julia. Ashley grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she started acting in local theater productions at the age of 10 years old. She homeschooled during her highschool years to have more time for her creative ambitions, then moved to NYC upon the decision to pursue acting full time. After graduating from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she went on to star in a string of new Off-Broadway productions, and along with close friends, founded a production company called Mind The Art Entertainment; where they wrote, acted in and produced their own work in the heart of the East Village.
Ashley's film career took off and she landed the lead role in Julia, which received rave reviews, won 7 Best Actress awards and the film was released in AMC cinemas in 2015. Her newest film is a gritty crime/drama called Albanian Gangster to be released in 2018. She also has her own film in development, which she is a co-writer on, producer and will star in as well. Ashley currently resides in New York.
